WHAT WE SAID:
When Damielle Basile first contacted me with her plans to build a bridge over their pool as a feature for her wedding I knew it would be a great event. From that point on I enjoyed working through all the plans with them to create what you see below as a fantastic set up that left a lasting impression on all their guests and gave us great pride in delivering a quality event space.
The marquees chosen were steel frame marquees to fit into some tight gaps between the clients garden beds and rotunda and utilise all the space possible to accommodate their guests. We then added silk lining and clear walls to allow a view of the pool and feature. We introduced Danielle and March to a caterer that could serve their needs and then arranged all the table settings and furniture to accommodate their guests in style. The caterer came to the Harts Showroom and set out a sample setting to ensure all her feature platters would fit on the tables with the centre piece. She then made her selection of catering equipment to turn their humble house into a commercial kitchen.
All the equipment was delivered on the Wednesday and Thursday prior to the wedding to avoid any last minute stress and allow the client to do their finishing touches that really set off the whole scene. Due to a cold weather forecast, we added some heaters and marquees over the ceremony area at the last minute and sent them out on the Thursday afternoon.
I believe there is nothing more memorable than a home party done well and this wedding, as you can see from the images below, will be embedded in the minds of the guests for years to come and be a lasting memory of the bride and groom's special day.
Of course we didn't kick them out at 11pm as most reception centres do. No, we let them party into the night, then sleep in the next morning with the comfortable knowledge that Harts crew would arrive on Monday morning to collect the equipment and take it away for cleaning.
