Wait, why didn’t we call this a marquee or tent? Why are we calling it a structure when it looks, feels and smells like a marquee?

The term ‘clearspan’ means that there are no centre poles, nothing to interrupt your perfect positioning of tables and dance floors. No help there, all of Harts Party Hire’s marquees and temporary shelters are clearspan!
We call this one a ‘structure’ because that’s really what it is. It’s more than a marquee. This bad boy is imported from Germany, rated to over 130kp/h winds, stands on minimum 2.4m high legs instead of the standard 2.1m, and doesn’t need ropes when we build it. We can put stakes right through the base of each leg. No ropes to trip over.
In addition, it’s truly modular. We don’t have to get several of them and join them with gutters. Each 3m or 5m bay (this size depends on the structure width), extends from the previous one. This is great if you’re trying to hang features such as premium lighting or pyrotechnics through the roof. It also means no gutters between the modules. This allows for a clear line of sight from one end of the structure to the other, ideal for internal stages.
For example, a 6m structure can be 6m x 3m, 6m x 6m, 6m x 9m etc… this just goes on until you run out of space. This also means we have ideal sizes for installing on tennis courts!
Harts Party Hire’s clearspan structure is also available with silk lining and French gothic arch window walls, to give your event that extra bit of style.
Harts Party Hire stock marquees from the following suppliersaround the world. Losberger, Hocker, Aztec & Altegra.
If you’ve already read the case study on Paul Kirton’s 40th Birthday – this is the structure he had for Macpherson + Kelly’s law firm anniversary. It’s why he came back (well, one of the reasons anyhow).
