When do I need a Council Permit for my Temporary Structure?

You require a council permit when ever you install a marquee over 100m² in a public place or if it will be open to the public, i.e. a school fete on private land requires a permit as it is open to the public.

Harts staff are more than happy to advise whether a permit will be required. Alternately contact your local council and ask for the building surveyor.
