SUCCESSFUL TRADING HISTORY

Harts Party Hire commenced business in July 1989 in Box Hill South

In December 1994 the business moved to larger premises in Surrey Hills due to an expansion
in stockholding and the need for cleaning and maintenance space.

In June 2000 the business was moved to a 28,000 square foot premises in Oakleigh due to further requirements for storage, maintenance and cleaning.

In November 2000 the trestle table hire business of Trestlemania was acquired by Harts to better supply the Shopping Centres and Market trade.

In 2001 the business of Alora Aberdeen Hire Service was acquired, increasing the size of the company by 30%.

In February 2004 Harts acquired the business of Gala Hire Services in Nunawading.

In October 2003 Harts purchased the complete stock of Burkinshaw Consultants (Staging) to meet the increasing demand for integrated staging and marquee solutions.

January 2007 Harts moved into an 88,000 square foot facility in Oakleigh providing a state of
the art showroom and consolidation of all equipment and services into one
warehouse.

Harts has grown to be a major supplier in the Victorian event market providing employment
and career opportunities for 18
permanent staff and up to 35 casual staff in peak season.

Harts Party Hire operates to a vertically integrated QA policy, whereby quality of equipment
and processes are continually assessed. The process is managed through all levels from
maintenance to cleanliness to product safety.

The Customer Relationship Manager with the assistance of the Site Supervisor takes responsibility to ensure all stages of the operation are completed to the customer's satisfaction.


HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Harts operates with a Staff Policy Manual that documents all requirements for Human
Resource Management.

Harts has staff qualified to Certificate 4 in Workplace Training and Assessment and retains fully documented training manuals for all facets of the business including HR, Operations, Administration and Sales. Training is conducted at induction, during regular staff meetings, on the job and via dedicated training courses. Additionally Harts provides staff with external training including First Aid, OH & S, Marquee Installers Course and Certificate 3 in Transport and Distribution.

Harts maintains a comprehensive recording system for all documentation including staff reporting and staff suggestions.

Harts was the first company to establish a HRIA sponsored Certified Agreement with its staff.
All Harts staff are employed under the Harts Certified Agreement 2005.


OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY

Harts Human Resource staff regularly attend Workcover sponsored courses and briefings to ensure full compliance with Workcover Requirements.

In particular Harts is fully compliant with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 with a full safety plan in place including an OH&S Committee, Comprehensive Reporting and Recording Processes and a rigid Job Safety Analysis and Risk Management System

All managers, supervisors and team leaders are First Aid qualified and all vehicles carry a comprehensive 1st Aid Kit. All staff are supplied with head wear and sunscreen for outdoor operations and safety equipment for noise, vision and head protection.


RISK MANAGEMENT

Harts Party Hire operates to the Risk Management Standards defined in Australian New Zealand Standard 4360:2004. All events involving site work are subjected to a thorough
risk analysis and mitigated through staff briefings.

Harts has procedures in place to conduct Risk Analysis for all new products procured to ensure staff safety.

STAFF QUALIFICATIONS

In addition to 1st Aid qualifications, all staff undergo the comprehensive Harts in house training programme. Most site staff are "Red Tag" qualified for construction sites. Staff are also qualified as Registered Building Practitioners, and OH&S trained.

All electrical equipment is Tested and Tagged by trained staff and all vehicles, forklifts and elevated work platforms are operated by qualified personnel.

Harts staff regularly attend in house and external training sessions as well as attendance at conferences and conventions both in Australia and overseas.

Harts maintains a stock of more than 300 marquees. Our stock is continually updated with new skins and we are continually purchasing additional stock.

Additionally we carry an extensive range and quantity of equipment commensurate with the marquee stock including tables, chairs, office and lounge furniture, flooring, lighting, fencing, chain and tensile barriers, catering equipment and table settings for up to 5000

Harts also operates a Premier Hire division with quality Zweisel crystal glassware, AFC fine china and Stanley Rogers 18/8 stainless steel cutlery.

Harts is committed to integrating environmental sustainability and accountability throughout the company. Harts has in place many projects and processes to ensure that the Company and its staff minimise the effect of their operations on the environment. This includes using recycled water and paper, non caustic detergents, minimised water usage through dry cleaning, LPG
fuelled vehicles. All used paper is recycled.

Harts is fully insured for Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, Stock Value in transit and on site and Workcover. Certificates of currency are available for customer inspection.

In support of our customer service values Harts operates the most advanced and sophisticated web based computer program in the industry. The integrated program administers our quotation, order, invoice and stock management and is
totally portable. Introduction of this service has resulted in our ability to provide accurate quotations, and stock availability with the results emailed to the client immediately.

Additionally Harts is able to provide a CAD printout of the site plan with a 3D presentation walk through. The site plan is also used for applications to Council for temporary structure building permits and includes detailed layout of fire extinguishers, fire exits, and crowd
management requirements.

2007 is no exception with Harts introducing a range of Pagoda style marquees from Aztec Tents in the USA and more recently with the launch of The Barbieri. This new ground breaking marquee has the event world talking with its innovative design and especially the move away from white to a chocolate frame with champagne PVC. This new marquee is particularly suited to the corporate market and is eminently suited to many variations in theming.
